Home Remedies for Nausea and Vomiting
Some of the best home remedies to relieve nausea and vomiting may include:
Ginger: Take a small of ginger and keep chewing it slowly or drink a ginger or clove tea to ease the symptoms.
Peppermint: Add 1 teaspoon of dried peppermint to a cup of hot water. Cover and steep for 5 to 10 minutes. Strain and add some sugar or honey. Drink this tea after waking up in the morning.
Fennel: Keep some fennel seeds near your bedside and chew on them as soon as you feel queasy.
Red Raspberry Leaves: Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of dried red raspberry leaves to 1 cup of hot water. Cover and steep for 5 to 10 minutes, then strain. Drink this tea first thing in the morning.
Pineapple and Ginger: Don’t eat for a day. Drink 1 cup of sweet fresh pineapple juice with a pinch of ginger, a pinch of black pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon organic sugar, thrice a day.
Lime juice: Add 10 drops of lime juice, 1/2 teaspoon sugar in 1 cup of water and just before drinking add 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda.

To massage this pressure point:
- Place three fingers across the wrist.
- Put your thumb under your index finger.
- Rub this point in a firm, circular motion for two to three minutes.

- Get fresh air by opening a window or step outside for a few minutes, when feeling nausea.
- If wanted to eat, eat small meals slowly. Start with bland foods such as boiled rice, soup.
- Drink at least 8 glasses of clear fluids, such as water or apple juice daily
- Do rest after meals, sit in a chair or propped up in bed.
